tx1420 notebook

just got it 2 weeks ago and now when I try to play movies most of the time I get "media player stopped working"and comm surragate stopped working even though I have watched therm before so I know its not a codec issue same happens with quick play.So far I hate this notebook itgets super hot is slower than my Mac was and way more problems never again I'm sticking to MAc please help before I smash it to pieces and send it back.

Did you buy it used, the TX1000's are a few years old now, but you said you just bought it?

Maybe it's another model, whats the product number on the bottom of the Notebook? (PN)

This will also help with identifying the softpaqs you may need.

 

I always use a Chillpad with my Notebooks regardless of the brand, and I make family do the same.
