why cant we connect net in quick web with usb internet modem

HP QuickWeb is Linux based and doesnt support USB modem to access the internet. You can try connecting it to a wireless router and acess internet wirelessly but the device which you are trying to use would not work.

as my os is windows 7 it can be conneted or not with usb modem in quick web

I'm aware your OS is windows 7 but HP Quickweb is Linux based software and wouldnt detect USB internet modem and there is no way you can make it work.

Hello,

 

I am also facing problems with the QuickWeb application.

It works great with LAN and WiFi, however I am not able to get it working with my UMTS / 3G modem.

I understand that the QuickWeb is based on Linux, however the modem is internally built into my EliteBook 8540w laptop so there should not be any problem with the USB!

 

Could someone please help me in this matter?
