Hi a few months ago the orginial hard drive on my TouchSmart IQ506 crashed n died. I had to re-install a new hard drive and ran recovery disks. To make story short, I noticed that the touch screen feature is no longer there. I remember i could log into my account using the touch screen function. Now it won't work. Does anyone can tell me how to I resolve this minor issue?

Hi r6champion,
What is the installed operating system?
Here is a link to the Software & Driver download section of the web support portal for your TouchSmart PC. Download the OS appropriate HP Support Assistant and install it. Afterwards go to the Maintain section and run a TuneUp. Install the updates that it advises you to.
Also download and install the original HP Keyboard, ACPI buttons and OSDs driver.
Afterwards go into the Device Manager to verify that there are no devices with a yellow exclamation point next to them. The yellow exclamation point is an indicator that a device is recognized by the operating system, but does not have a driver installed.
