CPU UPDATE FOR TOUCHSMART 610-1030F, FROM i3 to i7

trying to upgrade my i3 to an i7 and was not able to do it, it will not even turn on, I also try an i5 and the same problem. HP website and customer support say all i processors are comparible with this ZN7(F01) motherboard in this computer, but unable to do it. HAS ANYONE BEEN ABLE TO UPDATE THE CPU ON THIS COMPUTER?

Here is some info which might help you...

Your computer Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:

1. Core i7 8xx series (95W)
2. Core i5 7xx series (95W)
3. Core i5 6xx series (95W)
4. Core i3 5xx series
5. Pentium Dual Core G6xxx series (73W)

Look for above spec processor

Hey Andrew thank you a lot but I already had that info. I got that info from HP.com and also I spoke with HP customer support and they said it should work, but nothing about it. I took the computer to Compusa and I was there for about 4 hours and they installed one i5 and one i7, and didn't work. They also did a bios update and still the same thing. After all that HP customer support said to call intel that they may have the solution; ok I called intel and they say they can't troubleshoot my problem because the mother board HP is using in this computer is not intel, so they also say HP is the one that have to give me the support because HP is the one saying that this computer supports i5 and i7 CPU, so I'm stuck here....so many brains in HP and they don't know about this issue that they say it is supported. ************>>>>>>**ANYBODY HAVE AN IDEA?******** Thanks again andrew.................

Get motherboard replaced from HP or get in touch with motherboard manufacture ..  Manufacturer's motherboard name: ZN75

This is not a standard motherboard, it will only be available from HP or HP parts suppliers

How exactly is that link to Quanta useful? they don't sell anything to end users, they're an OEM build supplier.

I am aware that they are OEM build supplier, They can help why other processor is not getting installed the MB , and if they have any info on it , they will help him out with upgrading processor,,,  And if it still does not have any help from it , Then he can ask HP to replaces the MB..
