Default theme and wallpaper

Hi all

I am a newbie to this forum.  Hope you wouldnt mind if I raise any stupid question

I remember when I first used the Touchsmart, there was a default theme and wallpaper.  But I changed it few weeks ago and I can't find it anymore.  Could anyone gimme some idea where they are, please?  Thanks in advance.

Go to Control Panel, Personalize, Desktop Background, in the drop down menu chose Windows Wallpapers.

Hi mate, thanks for the advise.  But I tried and I dont see any other theme or wallpaper I could choose except the one Im using currently.  Would you specific the path as much as you could, please?  Im not very familiar with window vista.  Thanks.

Hello,

I assume you are looking for the TouchSmart wall paper?  You can find it under Personalization and Desktop Background.  Change the Location to Windows Wallpapers.  Then scroll down to Unspecified and you should see lots of cool designs.

Default for TouchSmart is Aero. Right-click the Windows desktop, select Personalize, click Windows Color and Appearance, click Open Classic..., select Windows Aero from the list, and then click OK. Ta-da.

Does HP have download area for HP-related wallpapers/desktop backgrounds? I bought an HP notebook PC three months ago but had to return it because of software/hardware issues. i have a new HP laptop, same brand. However, i realized that the HP wallpaper (or desktop background) which i liked is not on the new PC. Is there an areas in HP that I can go to download HP sample wallpapers/downloads that it uploads on HP's computers? If so, i will appreciate the links where these can be downloaded.

No DL area, but if you do a simple search for HP wallparer on google images it turns up a lot of results.

hey guys im havin problems with changin my desktop background settings. everytime i change the picture position to tiled or centered or anythin it doesnt change.. it stays as stretched... can anybody help me wit dis?
