Facebook for Touchsmart 610 1030y will not work

I found the answer via google once but can't find the exact steps again.

Basically, it involves turning off secure browsing (temporarily) at facebook.com while using Internet Explorer (somewhere in your account/security settings at facebook.com)

Then go to the Facebook app in TouchSmart and login, make sure to use "remember login" option.

After logging in there, (I think) you can go back to Internet Explorer and turn on secure browsing again and everybody should be happy.

Yes i tried that turned off secure browsing then signed in on touchsmart SUCCESS

I bought a new Touchsmart 610-1030f PC yesterday and I cannot access the FB from Magic canvas.

On the Facebook, I no longer see the security section.

Can someone help us on to get this working?

OK chaps, log into FB in IE and go into your account settings.  Select 'security' settings and disable 'secure browsing', save, close and log out.  Now log back into FB on the Magic Canvas and it should work.  Remember to tick the option to 'save' your password.  Now go back into FB in IE and re-select secure browsing and Bob's your uncle.  Good luck everyone.
