HD521-1W and HD521-2W errors, how worried should I be when I see these?

Touchsmart IQ515UK, error message HD521-1W and HD521-2W  when running the HP dianogstic software and a message on boot up that hard-drive failure is imminent (can't tell if that is malware or not). I've already hard a hard drive failaure when under warranty which was replaced and can't believe it's happening again.

Those codes are generated by the diagnostic program and indicate the hard drive needs to be replace.  The imminent failure message is generated by the SMART diagnostics that are built into the hard drive firmware and also indicates the hard drive is failing.  If you can still access the hard drive you will need to back up your data.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
