I have an HP TouchSmart 320-1030 Desktop PC, buy in GA, US , on Nov 2011.
It is running windows 7 64 bit
Today I uprade bios V7.13 which down load from http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloa
- Cannot reconize mouse & keyboard , i have to change wireless reciver to outside usb port => it is ok
- Cannot install touchscreen driver.
I recheck Description on download :

I think i had upgraded wrong bios. Can you send me the original bios file that i can ugrade again ?

Contact HP Support about the issue. Only they can give a new BIOS>>866-408-5408

I have chat 2 times with 2 Hp technician.
- The first said : it is wrong bios, it is AAHD3-NK motherboard, my motherboard is Angelino. So reupdate origin is more harmful.
- The second said : it is the right bios, and he ask me press F10 (on start) to go to utility set up. But i can not save any thing in utility setup . => no thing changes.
Finally both of them did not send me bios.
Iam in Vietnam now, and HP VietNam does not support Touch smart.

Today, i open the back cover of PC and check the motherboard.
- It is exact AAHD3-NK (1 HP online technical support was wrong, not being train?)
- I see below "AAHD3-NK" is "Rev 1.03" . Is it mean the original bios is 1.03 ?
- I try removing battery or set clear cmos jumper to reset cmos, after that reinstall cmos update 7.13. But no thing change.
- My bios chip have problem? if there is any problem, windows can run?
- I want to try upgrading bios from DOS but dont know what sotfware?
- So far , i have chat with 3 online HP technical support and 1 contact by email, but all of them just said "Running Recovery" i feel they dont know anything except "Recovery".
- Can "Recovery" recover bios? because i change the new HDD so lost Recovery partition, if "Recovery" can recover bios i will order the recovery CD.
- I cannot find any information about AAHD3-NK motherboard on internet. Brand name? website to download bios.

Recovery Disks will Not recover BIOS. They will only restore Windows and programs that came with the machine. This is likely going to require service from HP and 'may' even require a motherboard replacement.
Use the number I posted earlier and phone HP to see what options you have for warranty service.866-408-5408

Did HP know bios V7.13 had problem and deleted it?
I have sent email to HP for a long time but no reply from them
HP's support is the bad .

1. at the 1st option (creat bootable cd ) it is runs about 30 second and display "unnable to creat a bootable cd" please chose another option.
2. I chose the second option (burn iso file to disc). The process is finish , but the disc cannot boot.

I understand that you are trying to update the BIOS, but getting a message to create a bootable disk.
Is this the BIOS you are trying to install? I don't think this is actually a BIOS update. I have reviewed the contents of the downloaded executable and it looked more like a DVD firmware update than a BIOS update. Upon installing the BIOS, I did receive a message that appeared more to update the firmware of a DVD drive instead of the BIOS. I will look further into this and verify if it is the right file being downloaded on our site or if it is something else.
Did you get a prompt like this when installing it?

Thank you for verifying the information.
This still doesn't look like a BIOS update based on the options presented. I haven't seen any BIOS update, that is on a model this new, update over a CD. I'll report back with anything that I find.
You created a disk and mentioned you were unable to boot from it. Did you try to boot from it by changing the boot order in BIOS or by pressing F9 about once a second after turning it on to select the disk drive?
Did you get any errors when trying to boot from the disk?
