Hp TouchSmart 600-1050,with hp CDDVDW TS-T633P Ata Device,wont recognize any media,I was looking for solution on HP and Samsung and do not find any,Windows say it is working Properly.Serial # R3866G0SA30140,Firmware Version H130 195.

You have a couple of options as I see it please try these sets might help you to resolve your issue.

1) Go to device manager then click on CD/DVD drive uninstall the driver restart the unit and check.

2) Try doing system restore to the date where unit was working fine.

3) Click on the link for Microsoft Fix it.
