Keyboard has locked and am unable to type on it

I have a HP touchsmart 2MD020HLV, WS329AV#ABA and my keyboard has locked up on me. how do you unlocking the keyword/deactivate the touchscreen to type on the keyboard as usual

Appologies if you already thought of this, but assuming we're talking about a TouchSmart with a wireless keyboard (I do not know of the model number): did you consider perhaps the battery in the keyboard is dead?

 

Mine lasted for a long time (2 years?), and there was not any indication that the battery had died other than that the keyboard didn't work, so it took me a minute to figure out what'd happened. :smileyhappy:
