I upgraded my current Vista Home Premium (64-bit) to Vista Ultimate (64-bit) ( expensive upgrade) on my IQ506 computer. After the upgrade, the system does not recognize the DVD ROM drive. There is no DVD icon shown when I click the computer icon. I tried to update the driver and was told that I have the most up-to-date driver. I even tried to update the DVD firmware, but it failed because the driver was not found. I cannot re-install my HP printer drive because I don't have a dvd drive according to my system. The dvd drive is TSST corp CDDVDW TS-T633A. Wonder if anyone could help me??????
thanks

Hi,
I found a site on Hp.com/support that might help:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docnam
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docnam
to check if the DVD cable is connected.
I work for HP.
