Newly created recovery disk 1/5 appears to be blank. others ok. how can I fix this or do I need to?

As a rule can you please post computers model number and operating system in the future. It makes it much easier for people to better address your issues. Example: Mine is HP Touchsmart 600-1050 Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit version 3 touchsmart software.
To address your issue. I take it this is a new computer. All HP computers have a one year warranty so you can contact HP direct support live chat. Touchsmarts do not record on all cd/dvd brands disks. Maxell DVD+R disk works. This brand of disks do work TDK brands do not work.on these computers. Another thing you can order recovery disk from HP parts store as well.
