I purchased an HP Touchsmart IQ700 series desktop just over a year ago with the extended gaurantee
One of the great features about the desktop was everything is built-in and wireless including the keyboard and mouse and remote control
Unfortunately, whilst on the Cbeebees site one of my children had an accident with the keyboard and this broke and unfortunately this was not covered by the gaurantee
Since this time I have spent almost two months on the phone with HP and a multitude of their suppliers and distributors trying to get a simple keyboard replacement but to no avail.
HP cannot supply something as simple as a keyboard replacement (out of stock / discontinued after 13 months), with no suggestions as to what to do.
I am shy of purchasing another wireless keyboard/mouse because HP help system always asks you to use the original keyboard and mouse. In addition I am worried about potential conflicts between any new wireless dongle device and the built in HP device
Any suggestions out there.
Regards
Sandhuman
