Hello Mur6950:

            I asum you still have version 3 touchsmart software installed on your computer unless you updated it to version 4  touchsmart software. Go to your computers control pannel. On top right hand corner you will see View by: Change it to small icons. Now everything is displayed go down the long lists. You will see Power Options click on it. Next window will open. This is where you change power  settings are at. You are welcome. On version 4 touchsmart software I am not sure about how similar the two are. They should be about the same.
