Sony PS3 to HP TouchSmart 610-1130 HDMI ports

Hi,
Just purchased a HP TouchSmart 610-1130 Desktop PC, Blu-ray, Intel Core i5, 3.2GHz, 6GB RAM, 1.5TB, Beats Audio, 23" from John Lewis in the UK with 2 HDMI ports on the right hand side of the monitor. My problem is that when I connect my PS3 to any the HDMI plugs and switching on the PS3 nothing happens! There is no mention to the HDMI plugs or adding a gaming devise in the, Getting Started Manuel! What am I doing wrong?

i just bought my hp 610-1130uk 2 days ago and am having the same problem, i got no  idea how to use the hdmi, have you figured it out?

Just came back from a few days away and yes still no idea how to get the ps3 working on the TouhSmart via the HDMI plugs.

Just out of curiosity I also connected the ps3 to my wife's Dell Inspiron laptop which has a HDMI plug and no luck with that either!

I will pop into John Lewis tomorrow and ask someone in the tech dept about this and if no joy there I will contact Computer Active which I subscribe too... keep you informed.

Just called hp and figured out how to do it, in the search I typed in picture to picture and a program comes up. It works! From that program you can switch which hdmi slot you want to use. But the quality is terrible! I'm having second thoughts on returning the computer. Let me know how you find it

Yes I somewhat agree about the picture quality and a big pitty you can't use full screen, on mine anyway! Also I was prompted to update to the lasted version!

I have tried doing the picture to picture setup but It doesnt take up the whole screen.
