Unable to access webcam with recent windows 7 installation

I have a touchsmart desktop iq826t and just recently installed windwos 7 32bit. My webcam which used to appear on the desktop and the touchsmart interface can now only be accessed with the touchsmart interface (works perfectly here). Even when I perform a search on the smart up menu I cannot find the webcam application to access it directly. Is there any way to add the webcam application to my desktop?

Hello CJ17:

          I am sorry but HP software does not allow to this. I wish this as well sure would be nice to use it features as well with messagers as well not just on you tube. The camera will work with Skye but not the features. Will not work on MSN, Aim and yahoo messangers. I bought a nother web-cam but windows 7 will not allow you to install web-cam features only the basic.  Pretty poor of HP to tease us. Provide us great featurers but we can not use them as we like to. Pertty bad design in software.
