Upgrading Hard Drive

Hi,

This may be a stupid question, but I have a new Touchsmart 300-1007 with a 320 GB harddrive which is already almost full, and i want to upgrade the HD.  Do I have to use an HP hard drive or can I upgrade to any SATA 3G, 3.5 inch hard drive?  Any size limitations or other proprietary problems that may create?  Anyone know if that will void any warrantees?

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Re: Upgrading Hard Drive

Yes - any sata 3G (not esata).

No - a hard drive is a user replaceable part - you should still have your warranty if use HP parts - read your warranty for specifics.
