»HP TouchSmart 600-1420uk Desktop PC
Serial Number: 4CH10798YD
Product Number: xs915ea
Windows 7 64 bit
Is it possible to upgrade the RAM, CPU & GPU? It looks pretty tough as there isn't a lot of space in there!

Hi,
Review the specifications for your TouchSmart.
You should be able to upgrade the memory to 8 GB, the CPU up to the i7-820QM and the GPU. Upgrading the GPU requires a MMX 3.0 video card that is limited to 35 watts. HP Partsurfer probably has one model in stock. You might be able to find others on the internet.
These HP 'how-to" articles should be somewhat helpful along with this service manual.
Unless you are really very skilled with PC repairs, I would recommend that you contact an authorized HP repair shop. The referenced HP articles don't show how to replace the GPU or CPU (heat sinks and thermal paste etc...) The authorized HP repair shops do have access to other HP repair procedures for your Touchsmart.
