You won't be able to tell on the keyboard or on the display screen.
Just remember that when you touch and hold the left or right shift key the next key touched will produce a capital letter until the shift key is released.

I found out that my system was not working correctly. I have reloaded my microsoft system and it does show on the screen when the caps lock key has been activated or taken it out of caps lock.
