            Wireless devices come with their own usb blue tooth receivers. They usually only work with device it came with. Such as in your case. If that was a you sujest then Touchmart will pick up all wireless devices that are around the computer. I have a sony witch is wireless sitting next to a Touchsmart wireless also. Niether computer can not pick up each others keyboard and mouse sets. I tried a wireless mouse already on my Touchsmart in order for it to work I had to connect the USB blue tooth device that came with the mouse.

        You always will need usb device for using wireless devices each one is design to pick up their own devices. Even when you buy a new touchsmart mouse and keyboard set you have to connect the new USB blue tooth that came with new keyboard and mouse set. The one witch is on orginal keyboard and mouse set would not pick up new keyboard and mouse set. I already found that out when I had to replace my corrupted Keyboard and mouse.

          Yes you can. New keyboard and mouse set comes with it's own USB receiver. Keep your old one as stand by. O.k. Remeber to hold the botton down on bottom of mouse for connecting and same with Key board on top. The same way you did setting it up your computer. Just make sure your new Keyboard and mouse set is compatible to Windows 7 64 bit computer. Your new mouse and keyboard set may even have insulation disc's as well most do especially Micro Soft products. I know Hp Standard keyboards are not comfortable as the fancy ones. Enjoy your new Keyboard .
