HP Touchsmart300 PC no system sound--don't want to buy extra speakers:smileysad:

Hello LeeHaak: That's no fun. Ready to check all your sounds locations to make sure you haven't mute any thing. Let's start with lower right side bottom click on sound icon open volume mixer. Ckeck if anything is muted. Click volume control options control. Frist box should check off. If everything is ok their next we will trouble shoot. Click start button , than click on all programs then click pc help and tools then click on sound troubleshooter and run it.  If you need to replace the computers speakers it should be that hard. Just a little time consuming. After you run sound troubleshooter I would contact HP Store and ask them about what it cost for speakers and is possible for me to install them. Also check your key board and see if mute key is sticking. I dought your speaker are burt you would have smelled burt wires smell if they are.  Good Luck
