need help setting asset tag in bios on touchsmart 9300

I'm trying to change the asset tag in the bios on a 9300.  My company went from 9100's which let you change it but now it seems greyed out where you can't change it.  This is important for how we have these setup in our corporate environment.  Anyone have any ideas?

Hi:

This method works on the HP 6200 Pro and HP 8200 Elite Desktop PC's:

After entering BIOS Setup by hitting the F10 key, press Ctrl+A to open additonal fields in Security>System IDs menu.

Enter your PC's serial number in Asset Tag Number and Chassis Serial Number fields.

Save changes there and again when you exit the BIOS.

This forum is basically for Home user computers. Touchsmart 900 series are business computers with a differt operating system. Link above will get you a better results.
