It's 2GB total, 4 GB total, or 8GB total...  can't do 2+4 as far as I can tell....

2 x 4GB DDR3 memories SODIMM  PC3-8500 or PC3-10600 non-ECC unbuffered should work.

 

You can order from HP, get it at your local store, or online, such as a company like crucial.com.    I am not endorsing any one vendor however...
