touchsmart tx2 system recovery manager

I started a full system recovery with hp recover manager to restore my touchsmart tx2 to factory setttings the computer was slow... at first it was ok. But now all it does it turn on and off and everytime it turns on it goes to hp software installation it stays there for like 20 minutes then turns off turns on then immediately turn off and does the same thing. Its been doing this for about two hours now. Dont know what to do.
