tx2-1370us Recovery Failure.

This laptop came with (just 3 weeks old) Win 7 Home.Premium.. It was very frequently showing BSOD. I tried applying all updates but it didnt help. Then I decided to reinstall the operation system. I created Recory Disks[1] (4 DVDs) using Recovery Manager. Then, I tried recovering using the F11 key.. OS installed properly. but, system was showing more frequent BSODs than before. I tried again recovering from HD-Partitions..failed to see any improvement..

Then I Installed Ubuntu 9.10 (karmic). The system worked well with ubuntu but, i couldnt get Touch options to work. Neither HP nor N-Trig are providing Linux drivers for the touch hardware.. (Touch feature is the main thing behind ordering this laptop)...

Then I tried recovering using the Win 7 disks. The Recovery Manager reads all the 4 Disks then restarted and showed something like "BOOTMGR not found.. press anykey to restart"...  Then I tried installing Ubuntu again.. Ubuntu worked perfectly again...

I called the HP Support. They suggested me run the "BIOS Diagnostic Tests for Hard Disk" (Both Short and Detail Tests).. Both the tests showed no problem at the end.  The HP Support then sent the"System Recovery DVD for Win7 Home Premium"[2] (2-Disks)

I ran the recovery disks.. the Recovery Manager runs from the the DVD and read both the disks. The System restarted.. It showed Win7 Startup Screen.. then it pops up 2 terminal(cmd prompt) in a flash of a sec., then system resets. this repeately happens for more than 8 hours... . the support forum says, the recovery takes 4-6 hours, some cases 24 hours..  For Hours, the system keeps restarting every 1 minute...

Before the system resets every time, it reads " Couldn't perform the screening because couldn't detect 2 HDDs on this system"  In Between, it showed a BSOD and freezed...

Recovery Error

I tried the recovery for another 2 times... but same issues..

What should I do ? .. Should I return the Laptop to HP.? .. or Is there a solution to this problem ?

 [2] SDV - FAT32 - 419 MB

** 257 GB Unallocated Space!!!  huh!
