where is the hdmi port in a touchsmart 600-1360

A standard TouchSmart 600 PC does not have an HDMI output.

 

The Select models have them on the upper left side of the display enclosure.

I looked again and my model is actually 600-1350 and there are no hdmi or component video ports. Will a usb port recognize a monitor or projector?

USB and HDMI are completely different types of ports.

If the projector supports USB for video via its software it would work, if the projector just uses USB for mouse/pointer then no it won't and you need a USB to HDMI adapter.
