why does the HP Creative Studio Daily Surprise stop responding during installation?

I have an HP TouchSmart computer.  The product number is QP789AA#ABA and the serial number is 3CR20117KF and is operating Windows 7.  No changes have been made to the computer.  I have been trying to install the Daily Surprise from the HP Creative Studio that came on the computer.  It downloads and then says Daily Surprise is not responding.  I have tried several times and cannot get it to install.  How do I fix it?

            When you download it click on save. Save it to desktop. Display your Desktop icons so you can find it. Oune it is downloaded if it opens Automaticly stop it. You have it on your desk top. Click on icon Select  properties  click on compatiblity tab and choose another compatiblity mode. Keep doing this untill the software opens and installs correctly. Example You choose windows 7 and same thing happens just nothing. Stop operations it is doing. Wait a few seconds then try another settings. Sooner or later you will get it either installed or the wizards window pop up. If wizard window opens all that is doing is the same thing you are doing manually. OK. Most software opens in Windows XP service pak 2. Thank you I hope you get it installed now using compatible choices.
