2610xi will not print photos from any program

All of a sudden, my 2610xi will not print phtos from any program on any size paper. It will print text. This has happened in the past but this time I cannot fix it.

What happens when you print photos? How does the printer respond? Do you receive any error mesages? What operating system are you using?

It says it is going to the printer but the printer does not respond in any manner. It will print photos with Microsoft word if I set it up as a page (4x6 or otherwise). There are no error messages. It just says "Printing." I am using Windows 7. I have tried reinstallling the printer and it doesn't make any difference.

same problem here with the 2610 and I see no one from HP seems to acknowledge this problem or have a fix for it.  I am very disappointed in this service.
