I have a new Photosmart Premium e-All-In-One C310a series printer. In eco highlights I'm told, "Save paper by up to 50% using automatic two-sided printing.
From that I assumed that this printer could do that, but I have not been able to find how.
The seven page document that came with the printer is really not a "user guide." Its more like a summary of features, very little "how to" save for a 4 step set up process.
Does the C310a have the capability to automatically print two-sided documents and if so how?
Thanks,

Hello Bobst,
As far my info tells me the unit does support automatich double sided printing, but needs a duplexor to do this. Some models are sold with the duplexor installed allready and some models are not. So in that case you will need to buy a duplexor. TO see if youre model has a duplexor installed check the back of the unit. If installed it should look like there is a black/grey brick sticking out of the unit. Click HERE to get more info about this duplexor, its under Two-sided printing accessory.

Hello Picardje,
Thanks for responding to my question. Evidently my model does support two sided printing ... in checking the back of the unit there was a black/gray brick sticking out, see photo included.
The question left was, "how do I use it?" The found the solution when trying to print a file after selecting "Print" a dialog box appears witch contains a properties button which opens a "Printing Short Cuts" box that contains a "Print on both sides to save paper" which has a drop down with 5 options: off, manually, automatically, left edge booklet and right edge booklet. I selected "automatically" closed the box and hit "print." And it worked.
Thanks for getting me headed into the right direction.
