I also have the same problem; single vertical line, 2-3 inches in from left side. My problem, however, is it does it all the time; printing, scanning, ADF and fax. Cleaned the glass, but can't seem to figure out what that has to do with printing. Also cleaned the short glass on left side used for ADF. Did a PQ test, calibrated linefeed, cleaned the printheads, replaced printheads, replaced all ink, aligned the print heads, did all diagnostic tests, i.e.., Network, Scan, Print. Would like more assistance. Started 6 mos. ago. Every time I tried to call tech support, was incredibly difficult to get through. Had a network problem before and didn't have any trouble getting in touch with technical support. Had a problem with my laptop and tech support was a joke. Would love to get a solution to this problem so I don't have to purchase a new printer (will be a Kodak next time!!).
