Having the same problems of no black being printed on a Photosmart  C309a. The large black cartridge is new. Photos print fine in color but when I try to print everyday black on white text, test pages, etc. there is no black print. Less than 2 years old and I've spent a few hours with replacing drivers, testing printed page and cleaning the heads enough to waste 1/3 of my ink. Please help.

I am having similar problems with my c7250.  But it is my magenta that is not working properly.  I have performed many print head cleanings and have called HP support which stated that my print head is faulty but not replaceable, so she tried to sell me a new printer.  Any and all help I would greatly appreciate.  I would love any "inside" information that may save my printer.  [Personal Information Removed].  Please help!!!!!

My black did not even print the whole page. If I printed multiple pages it did not discharge any black ink.  I did the factory reset and it worked.  # 6 and pull plug and restart.  I was pleasantly suprised.  I have an Officejet Pro L7555.

How might I receive reset instructions?  C7250 prints shades of Green in stead of gray - replaces yellow for red.
