Deskjet 6988 Automatic 2Sided Printing Not there.

I have Windows 7, 64 bit notebook.  Printer is set up wireless.  When I select "preferences", "Print on both sides", the drop down box does not show "automatically" as a selection. 

 

I have a wireless desktop with Windows 7, 64 bit and this works fine. 

 

How do I get "automatically" to appear and work in the notebook?

Hello grandadze,

 

It could be that the duplexer (double-sided module) for whatever reason did not get recognized/activated when you installed the printer on the notebook. To enable the duplexer, follow the steps in this document:
