Re: HP Deskjet 3050 J610a ePrint Issues

Hi SophieT10,

First, make sure your phone is one the same wireless network as your printer. Once you have confirmed that both devices are on the same wireless network, launch the ePrint Home & Print app. Select a photo from the Photo Albums or a file from the Saved Files section. At the bottom of the screen you should see your printer listed above the print button.

Re: HP Deskjet 3050 J610a ePrint Issues

Check out Google Cloud  Print: lots of options and different ways, you just have to hook it up via Chrome. Worth a shot, maybe. Lots of instructions here: http://www.google.com/support/cloudprint/bin/answer.py?answer=1686197

and here: http://www.google.com/cloudprint/learn/apps.html

if you're a fan of google docs, super easy to print to home via that and this system.

Re: HP Deskjet 3050 J610a ePrint Issues

Sorry to beat a dead horse: so ultimately, is what all of these points to the Eprint apps saying, is that there is no claim code for legacy printers, that predate the eprint ability, like the DJ3050?

I read through these comments and replies, and, well, all I need is the "claim code." I get that, and I'm done.

I use Google's cloud printing, and I will investigate any apps by HP. But if I can't enter a "claim code," I cant add a device, which makes the route I took, that led to my questions about the "claim code" a useless method of connecting to my printer.

So, bottom line: Can I get a "claim code" for my DJ3050?
