HP SMART WEB PRINTING CLIP OPTION IS NOT WORKING

I have ie 7 & xp.  i click select. the clip/print option pops, i click clip and nothing happens.  When I click community forum, microsoft visual c+++ run time library pops up & states:runtime error! program c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe; abnormal program termination. Mine is the only one doing this. I have to go to someone else’s  desktop on the same computer in order to use this application. Anyone know what is happening or how I can solve this issue?

when i click on select at the top of the clip board and try to outline the subject nothing happens

What internet browser are each of you using? Can you describe the issue in more detail - is this the only instance when the software causes this failure?
