Here is a link to a post that has some good information on mirror image printing and what has worked for some other people. You should be able to go to Control Panel>Printers>right click on printer>Properties>under General tab click Printing Preferences>under Advanced Tab click Mirror Image ON. However, like i said others have had some issues with this. Hopefully you will find the link below helpful.

Has anyone managed to figure out a way to do mirror printing with the 8600? The link above works fine if the option is clearly found in the printing preferences but does not seem to be available for the 8600 pro. Can such a non-cheap printer really be without this option?

Hi Taronone, The 8600 printer doesn't have mirror printing.

Here is a link to the manual for your 8600.

This is unacceptable that text cannot be mirror printed on a t-shirt.  Has anyone found a workaround for this problem yet.

Any advice is appreciated.

 @scweezer, you can try this document which shows you how to do mirror printing through Photoshop.

Also, this document might shed some light on the issue you're having.
