Every time I switch the power off on the printer i find that i have to reset it to the router all over again. The router is a Tensa operating on Virgin cable service . Computer is a Medion on windows 7. I did reinstall the software for the printer which cured it whilst I switched on an off to test it. However when I used it a couple of days later it was back to square one. Any ideas would be appreciated !!

I just want to say thank you for your help. I went back to square one and downloaded the latest software. Then iI reset the router and added the printer again to the network. Delighted to say all seems well , having tested it for the last week. I don't know what we do without these forums ,bearing in mind that they are made up of experiancd clever people prepared to give their time to the less knowledgable.
