Printing red x instead of images.

I can print images from word processing software, but I can't print certain images from the web. Instead of the image, I get a little box with a red x in it.

 

How do I get those images to print?

 

Printer: HP Officejet 6500 wireless

Conncetion: wireless (through a router)

PC: HP Pavilion dv9740us notebook

Browser: IE8

OS: Vista home premium SP1

I am having the same problem. Vista home preimum SP1, 32 bit, Photosmart 309n. Any help would be appreciated.
