Confusing website here !  I'm re-posting questions hoping for an answer.

When doing updates, will they continue updating inbackground while i do other work?

If updating is interuppted, will they continue where left off next time I'm online?

I have dial-up, so everything is slow, but can you give me some idea of how long updating will take? ( seems to take forever, & I don't like to keep pc running for hours ).

Sometimes I get the message " HP support assistant has stopped working"..what do I do then?

Which brings me to another problem..I just installed a new HP printer, & now have a Yahoo toolbar plus bookmarks, settings, HP games, etc.!  I don't want all this. Dial -up is slow enough without all this other stuff making it slower yet!

Advice needed, please !  Thank you !

Sorry !  Forgot to provide this info : I have Windows 7. Printer model is CH 366A
