This is the latest information that I received applicable information extracted from recent release:
".........Smart Web Printing is only supporting up to IE 8. However, there is a new SW called HP Smart Print (Included with HP/Microsoft Bing Bar) will support IE9. This software is now available out on the web....."
It should run with IE9 now, but may be just a short amount of time for that update. If it is not fully compatible now, it will be shortly after the programmers complete the code adjustments.
The link to the page is: HP Smart Print

If the advice resolved the situation, please mark it as a solution. Thank you.

Yes, but if your product is not on warantee any longer, there is no way to contact HP just to ask when/if the update is coming without cost. Who wants to pay money to tell them just to do their job of keeping up to date?

I have posted a new message that I cannot activate Smart Printing from the Bing Tool Bar. Your link in this message goes nowhere. I get a cannot connect screen. So, so far, no kudos.
