Web print

I have an HP LaserJet P1006. When printing pages from the web the printed text is microscopic no matter what website.  It's quite frustrating!  I have ATT Yahoo Windows Internet Explorer.  I've tried resetting printer options, but that doesn't work as the web stuff still won't print in an acceptable font size (say 10 or 12 instead of the 3 or 4 size it currently prints).  Printed items from Microsoft Office print fine.  It's just printing from the web that is a problem.  Thanks in advance!

Re: Web print

I am having same problem with my HP6280 all in one.  My problem seems to be that web pages are automatically put in the "shrink to fit" category on the Print Preview.  I can manipulate it somewhat by changing that to 100%if I think to do it before I print but the type size is still too small.  My old all-in-one HP did not do this put printed in same font as everything else, usually 10 or 12 pt.  Can anyone tell me how to change the automatic "shrink" setting?

Re: Web print

I just installed an HP C4680 All-in-one, and it works fine off the web. However, when I try to print anything from the internet, the printer is not even appearing as an option on my computer (Toshiba laptop)...Please HELP!

Re: Web print

After downloading IE 8 I now find my Web Page Printing needs to be upgraded so I downloaded 4.51. At first it didn't seem to work as everytime I went online with IE the pop up box poped up telling me I needed to upgrade which I tried several times it didn't work. So finally in order to open IE8 I had to disable the web page printing option. Where  do I go to reinable that option?    Also once I have success downloading 4.51 where do I find the green leaf???

Thanks, Marle

Re: Web print

I was having the same frustrating problem.  I solved it by using the drop-down menu under "File" when you open up your web browser,

and clicking on the sub-heading "page set up."

A box should open which has options.  I think you will find the "shrink to fit page width" checked.  Uncheck this and just allow the scale to

stay at 100%   This fixed my problem.  I have no idea what operating system you are using, but I have Windows 7.

Re: Web print

I tried changing the "shrink to fit" to 100%, then had to change to landscape and it still only increased to a 7.5 font, and the information spilled off the page.  Has anyone figured out how to print web pages (or yahoo e-mail) so that it will print larger than font size 4?  HP Help told me to cut and paste it into Word, then change the font size.  There's GOT to be a better answer than that!
