Will not print on photo paper

HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m - when printing on photo paper it prints with no definition, only the color prints.  Example - a Christmas tree will print solid green with no branches or ornaments.  It started out printing beautifully then changed after printing several pictures.  I have another HP C4150 and I checked the paper.  The paper is good.  Also I changed the settings from Automatic to photo paper.  I also cleaned the heads.  A test print was fine.  Can you help me?

It sounds like it might be related to the type of photo paper you're using. The printers you have listed below use different types of ink and papers. What kind of photo paper are you using? You should use HP Advanced photo media when printing with the C309.

I am using HP Advanced Photo paper.  It started out printing well then stopped half way through the 4th or 5th picture.  Also this paper works with my HP 4150 so I know it is not the paper.

Yeah, Advanced Photo paper is a great all around choice. Okay, that isn't it. I can't remember what you said about the ink levels, are they full? Are you using HP ink?
