Ok, so IE 8 has been out for a while. It's been in beta long enough and we customers still don't have a working HP Web Printing update for IE8, let alone Firefox which has been out for a REALLY LONG time.
Seems ridiculous.

I agree. I foolishly downloaded IE8 on Friday after getting a Microsoft Update notice and now I get messages that it isn't compatible with Smart Web printing with my C6280.
I don't get it. I would never have upgraded to IE8 had I known that.

I know, it is so frustrating.
Look, like it or not, Microsoft "rules" the computing world. I know that's an arguable statement, but that's the way it is. For a company like HP not test their own software, when Microsoft CLEARLY made the world know with betas of IE8, against IE8 is "consumer malpractice".
I wish there was another alternative to this smart web printing.
HP is lazy, arrogant and spits in the face of us consumers of their product.
Thanks for holding us back again HP! We though you would have learned your lesson in the IE6 to IE7 debacle with your software.
SHAME ON ME for staying with HP this long.
Time to consider other printing companies.

Hi all,
I'm happy to report that the HP Smart Web Printing Software is now compatible with Internet Explorer 8 for Windows Vista and XP. You can download the new software by going to the HP Smart Web Printing product support page (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product

I DO NOT TRUST YOU ... I followed you link and here is what it says: DO you see ANYWHERE that it says compatible with IE 8? NO!
You are telling a lie or don't know what you're talking about or HP is once again not being professional to update this website.
EITHER OPTION SUCKS!
