officejet 6000 e609n not printing black ink

My Officejet 6000 E609n was printign yesterday,  although on certain documents parts of some lines were missing.  The low cartridge lights came on for red and yellow,  so I replaced them today and tried to print a document which came out very faded and not legible.  I then replaced the black cartridge and tried again.  Still nothing ( test page is a faded windows symbol,  nothing else)  tried cleaning the rpinthead. . .test page the same.  Help!!

Try an alignment then do a few clean printheads - it's worked many times for me.

If this doesn't work, you may have to physically clean the printhead using a Q-Tip and some distilled water
