"Smart Print" & MacBook Pro

:catfrustrated:  I just bought an OFFICEJET PRO 860 by hp and have downloaded  Smart Print .  However, I am thinking that Smart Print does not work with iMac's or MacBook Pro's.  Can someone please tell me if my feelings are correct.  I cannot get either download to work.

Are you refering to the Officejet 8600 i this the printer that you are refiering to

 

This the main support page for your printer GO HERE go to software and drivers dowloads and download the latest software for your printer. Let me know if you still having this dificulties after that.

Hi,

The HP Smart Print only compatible with Internet Explorer versions 6-9 and Windows operating systems only.

The software is not supported by any Mac OS version.
