smart web printing problem

How |I stop the Smart Web Printing box from popping up. Each time I try to open anything the SWP box open axking me to insert the disk which I do not have. I do not know were this SWP came from bu today it started and I can not get rid of it.  |I deleted the SWP from the Add/Remove Programs but it continues. Can someone help me to remove this problem.

Hello rpmc,

I am sorry you are having this issue with Hp Smart Web Printing.  Based on your post I can assume that you installed Hp Smart Web Printing with the printer driver installation disc.  That is why it would ask you to insert your disc.  What appears to be installed is the browser add-on.  I am not sure why Hp Smart Web Printing still appears after you uninstalled it from add/remove programs.  You may have to disable the add-on through your browser's add-on management application.  You can also hide the toolbar with the green leaf icon on your browser's menu bar.  The leaf icon is a hide/show command for the toolbar.  If you have any questions or need help accessing your browser's add-on management application please feel free to post again.  Thanks!

How do I get to the browser management bar to find the green leaf toolbar to hide/delete the Smart Web Printing that I am having trouble with?  FYI I added a new printer 3 months ago and this problem just started yesterday and I have deleted everything I that I have found that mentions HP Smart Web Printing and still get it.  Microsoft Fix it program said it remove it but it didn't.

Finally figured it out.  Found the add-on browser management place and disabled the Smart Wed Printing portion and all at this time is working correctly. Thanks for the help.

I have no disc for it. I have a 7410 all in one printer but it had no disc for it.  Is this my problem. How do I get a disc? I downloaded my SMP online.

1. After a 'Restore' yesterday, I constantly get pop-ups for 'SWP' asking me for a disk I do not have.

2. No, it will not 'uninstall' from the Control Panel. Nada, zip, just sits there.

3. I have XP ... and my IE is 8 ... I most use GoogleChrome - hate IE, too slow, etc.

4. I NEVER PRINT FROM THIS COMPUTER  - - - e-v-e-r! I no longer need ANY printer software on this computer!

5. I tried downloading: revouninstall ... and that DID NOT WORK EITHER!

6. HELP!

 in section NOT AVAILABLE, I have:

  Show or Hide HP Smart Web Printing  DISABLED

I just can't get rid of this pop up.

nothing works to get rid of the smart web printing pop p I have even removed it from my computer and it still comes up .it must be a virus.
