web print - select area doesn't work

Hello,

i installed HP smart web printing but after clik on the select button nothing happen and i can not choose the area that i want to print.

I have repeated the installation 2 time and restart the computer but nothing... it doest work.

I have windows XP and IE 8

Hi,

I read your post but wish there was a solution.  I have had this problem for months with IE7 and IE8.  The feature is called Smart Selection.  But it doesn't work. There must be a fix for this.  In the help system it states:

With HP Smart Web Printing, you can use Smart Selection, instead of the standard selection of your browser.

• Smart Selection lets you define the exact area to clip or print. Just click on the Select button  in the top of the Clip Book. Then left-click and drag across the Web content that you want to include in your clip or print. Select Clip or Print from the context menu in the lower right of your selection. • Standard Selection bases the selection on the structure of the Web page. It becomes active after you have used Smart Selection. To use standard selection, left-click and drag across the content. Then, right-click and select Copy.
