wireless printer offline

My wireless printer shows offline on my laptop.  The "Connect" tab is not highlighted in the printer que pop up. How do I connect to my wireless network? It has been connected and working until recently.

Is the printer truly offline? If it's still connected to the network, I suspect a simple fix will work.


Try opening your printer queue, click Printer > Is "Use Printer Offline" checked? If it is, uncheck it, and you should be in good shape.

 

If this is a no-go, then we might need more details to figure this out, starting with printer model and your operating system...
