Already Own Windows 7 - Can I upgrade myself?

Hi all, I already own Windows 7 and wondering if I can upgrade my Windows Vista Ultimate HP Tochuscreen myself?  Are there any known issues with drivers or the other touchscreen custom applications?

 

I really like the new Windows 7 Media Center and other OS services and want to upgrade but not sure if it is safe and will work.

 

Can anyone advise?

As long as you are upgrading, you should not have any problems with the touch software.

Cool, thanks man!  I'll post my experience on this thread once done!  I plan on upgrading tomorrow and hope I don't have any issues.  THis will probably invalidate my support for this machine, but it'll be worth it.

 

Last Question:  Does anyone know if I have any problems, is there a reinstall disk that can be used to image my machine back to factory defaults?

You should be able to make the recovery discs from your unit that will put it back to Windows Vista. Look under Programs for a recovery manager.
