- Turn printer on.
- On your printer, press the Menu button
- Press 2 (on the fax dial pad)
- Press the right arrow (next to Enter button) until you arrive at "High Speed USB.
- Press Enter
- Press right arrow to select "Off."
- Press Enter.
- Press Enter again.
Printer will then reboot automatically.
The problem is not with the memory. It's with the way the printer interprets rasterized data. Unfortunately it is mostly caused when the printer, which is USB 2.0, communicates with a non 2.0 compliant device, such as a USB 3.0 port.
