Perrin77 - Confirming that your product (NK148AV) is recognized by Windows Upgrade order site ...just confirmed on the website. Hope you haven't given up.

ARB220 - sounds like an odd system glitch.  Give your order another try.

Re: Upgrade Program for Window 7

When I insert my Pavilion dv7-1170el related product number (fv101ea#abz, bought in Rome,  Italy) in Microsoft Form for Windows7 upgrade request, I get that the model inserted isn't allowed for upgrade program.

What I can do?

Can someone help me?

Re: Upgrade Program for Window 7

I purchased my hp pavilion p6110t onJuly 1 2009 (reference order# H107659858)

I went through all the steps necessary to order the windows 7 upgrade. (uploaded a copy of my packing list etc.)

Everything went smooth until today when I noticed the order was 'Rejected' without any reason whatsoever.

I was going to wait until the release of windows 7 to purchase my new computer, but hp had such a great July 4th sale going and the upgrade was a certain thing. Can you folks see if you can help me out here? I'm not able to comunicate with arvato because their e-mail hangs up on me and there is no phone number.

I sure would appreciate the help.

Re: Upgrade Program for Window 7

Thank you folks fo the phone #  (I shoulda seen that:smileysurprised:) I called them, and the girl on the other end just started taking my information real fast.

She had a good working knowledge of the english language - a little hard to understand - but she talked so fast and wouldn't let me get a word in.

It was something to do with their server and that it was unable to read the proof of purchase I uploaded to the site. I can re-order in 15 days with the same information I used the first time - I'm pretty sure, as I've said, I had a hard time asking questions - she kept trying to end the conversation.

It seems to me that it was their fault this happened, but they won't admit it.

Now I'm left wondering if I should use a different document than the 'Packing List' I used, or just scan it again

Any ideas?

Re: Upgrade Program for Window 7

Chucker - Is the packing list readable to you?  Sounds like your idea of rescanning (making a copy that is a little darker?) is a good path to take just to be sure.
